Food sensitivity testing, as it has come to be known is a way of finding out why our body/system is not working to it's optimum efficiency.  Those of us who are repeatedly plagued by symptoms such as:

DIARRHOEA, BLOATING, STOMACH CRAMPS, FLATULENCE, CONSTIPATION, WEIGHT GAIN, MUSCLE PAIN, DEPRESSION, BOWEL DISEASE, BAD BREATH, JOINT PAIN, LETHARGY, IBS, BAD TEMPERED, PMS, CHRONIC FATIGUE, THRUSH, BINGE EATING, CANDIDA, which has so far not been diagnosed by your doctor, would benefit from a test.  Reactions to particular foods have always affected peple, some recognise these and avoid the foods, but some people suffer and say 'oh I must have eaten something that has upset me, but I don't know what it is'.  For example my father cannot eat cucumber as it causes a high imbalance in the stomach acids and his symptoms are heartburn and the taste repeats on him.  Often the symptoms are manageable such as bloating, belching, indigestion then most people pop a pill and within the space of 30 mins the symptoms have disappeared.  But what if through your diet you don't have to pop pills anymore and you knew exactly what was causing the problems!!!!

The foods available to us, the way we shop and the way we eat has dramatically changed over the last 30-40 years.  Our fast paced life requires fast food whether it is soup out of a can or a ping in the microwave chilli-con-carne it is all processed.  The additives, preservatives, colours, flavourings, hydrogentated fats and excess salt and sugars are all contributing to our health and causing minor niggles to major problems, not only in the UK but all over the world. 

It always baffles me why people choose convenience foods when they tend to be more expensive then cooking from scratch.  This is normally the time or the lack of skills in being able to produce a meal.   But if you make your food you know exactly what ingredients has been used to produce your food and it is not coated or containing additives and preservative. 

For example do you know that green beans are washed in a bleach solution to stop any bacteria growth from when it leaves the supplier to reaching the supermarket shelf, how to avoid this, buy frozen, they are higher in vitamin and minerals and they are only washed in water to remove excess dirt.  A mixed bag of salad leaves have been treated with chemicals to keep them fresh, these can cause stomach ulcers.  A bun from a well known fast food retailer contains 5 teaspoons of sugar.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Many years ago a Pathologist told me a story, he was commissioned to do a decay test, which was looking at what effect the chemicals and injections that are given to our animals affects the meat we eat.  This is the disgusting bit.......a piece of lamb, pork, beef, chicken, turkey and a piece of human where placed in butcher shop conditions and monitored for gases and how quickly they decayed.  If you haven't already guessed, the human tissue sample lasted the longest confirming that we consume a lot of preservatives and additives, this test was conducted over 20 years ago so can you even begin to imagine the result now!!!

 

Up until now through all the years my family have been providing this form of testing and helping thousands of people, we have never heard of a research project being carried out for food sensitivities.  Generally medical research is used to find a drug to combat a physical complaint, which is just for generating money for the profit of pharmaceutical companies.

 

What scientific research is now proving is that there is a clear adverse reaction to some common foods (food sensitivity) and that they prevent our bodies from burning fat efficiently.  The body then stores this and it makes it difficult to lose weight.  A study in the USA used a food sensitivity on their volunteers and 98% followed a plan to avoid their problem foods.  The results where staggering, they not only lost weight, they had more energy, sugar cravings reduced, moods where alieviated, body to fat ratio improved and sleep patterns became noticibly regulated.  So by simply altering your diet you can benefit from an increase in better health.  With this and an excercise programme, that mountain turns into a gentle hill, which is much easier to climb!!!!
